Refurbishment of derelict house

Our private client purchased this run down house which came with planning permission to build a new bungalow within the grounds of the property. The property had a full scaffold erected and an unsafe chimney stack was removed, roof coverings and lead detailing overhauled, the existing upvc windows were overhauled, new guttering and a complete re-point of the brickwork made the property watertight.

Internally the premises were stripped back to the shell and new electrical, plumbing, kitchens, plastering, decorations and floor finishes were completed to present the premises to its best possible potential. Upon completion our client chose to rent the property and a new tenant was found within the first days of marketing.
