Phase 2 Post Production expansion

The second phase of expansion was completed for the Post Production Team at Warner Bros TV Productions UK to provide an additional four Video Edit suites, two Audio Edit Suites and a Voiceover Facility. All works took place at first floor level within a fully occupied building and consisted of normal and out of hours working to accommodate the needs of the business during this expansion.

Hawk undertook the project management of the whole process and co-ordinated all the working drawings, detailed design, building control applications and liaison and integration of new power, lighting, air conditioning and fresh air systems.

The Audio rooms especially were constructed to a high specification of sound reduction and lined out internally to create the appropriate acoustic conditions for Audio Editing. The Voiceover room is a fully sound deadened space and is positioned centrally between the two Audio rooms to allow VO recording to take place in either Audio Edit room.

All works were completed on schedule to allow a pre-booked production to take place, within the edit space, and this production has since been successfully broadcast.
