Full Refurbishment of Detached 6 Bedroom Property
Hawk worked closely with the client to develop the initial design brief. We were then heavily involved in all aspects of the early project stages offering advice and guidance on everything from structural steel replacements to sanitaryware choices.
Hawk undertook some initial strip out works, combined with opening up and investigation of various areas in order to eliminate as many unknowns possible. This lead to some structural steel replacements, strengthening works and floorboard replacements.
As part of the project we carried out some minor layout alterations such as introducing a new arched doorway between the existing master en-suite and adjacent spare bedroom, combined with extensive built in furniture, creating a spacious master suite.
We also removed the existing front door and reconstructed the elevation to accommodate a large pair of oak front doors complemented by a quarry tiled porch of an increased size. The existing central heating systems was completely removed and replaced with a modern system tailored to suit the demands of the property including a new water main of an increased size. The kitchen and all bathroom suites were replaced, complemented by ceramic tiles.
This project was finished off with comprehensive redecoration both internally and externally as well as replacing all windows and doors giving the finishing touch to the newly refurbished home.
