Design, Fabricate & Install Training Centre

Hawk were appointed to design, fabricate and install a new Coffee Training Centre for Matthew Algie in the Business Design Centre in Islington. Hawk completed 3D images of their design for client approval, prior to completion of full Setting Out Drawings. The client brief was to provide a facility to train at least eight persons, with fake brickwork walls, corian work surfaces, reclaimed timber units and oak effect amtico flooring.

The new Joinery units were made from reclaimed floorboards from a local salvage yard, most retaining their rustic look, prior to a sealant lacquer finish. Internally a set of bi-fold aluminium doors and a glazed office screen separated the areas to create specific work areas. The installation was complimented by a new electrical and plumbing installation.
